Durham Hospitals Radio had a fantastic night at the National Hospital Radio Awards which were held on 5 April 2025, as part of the Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA) annual conference in Hinckley, Leicestershire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We won an award in each of the four categories that we were shortlisted in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gold: Best Programme with multiple presenters<\/strong>: The Sugar and Spice Show with Eileen, Nikki and Dawn<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gold: Best Speech Package:<\/strong> A DAM good job with Eileen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silver: Female Presenter of the Year:<\/strong> Eileen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bronze: Best Special Event:<\/strong> A cut above the rest with Eileen and Nikki<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awards are run by the HBA who are a national charity that supports and promotes Hospital Broadcasting in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
