Mike joined DHR in 1991 and was let loose with the ever popular “Listeners Choice” show early in 1992. Mike is part of the Monday night team and you can also listen to his show on Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm.
Mike has presented the “Listener Choice” programme on a regular basis, as well doing his own thing (within the station’s laid down policy of course), ever since. He has seen many changes at DHR over time culminating in the essential use of computers, 24 hour broadcasting, installation of Hospedia and the increase in awareness of our Hospital Radio by patients and staff at the hospital.
Mike is DHR’s Secretary and Recruitment Officer. In his spare time Mike is an avid cricket fan.
