Durham Hospitals Radio had a fantastic night at the National Hospital Radio Awards which were held on 5 April 2025, as part of the Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA) annual conference in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
We won an award in each of the four categories that we were shortlisted in:
Gold: Best Programme with multiple presenters: The Sugar and Spice Show with Eileen, Nikki and Dawn
Gold: Best Speech Package: A DAM good job with Eileen
Silver: Female Presenter of the Year: Eileen
Bronze: Best Special Event: A cut above the rest with Eileen and Nikki
The awards are run by the HBA who are a national charity that supports and promotes Hospital Broadcasting in the UK.
